How it works
When your site is submitted to the service, specific URLs are submitted. There is a one-time fee for each URL added to the system. You can submit one URL (your home page for example) or one hundred URLs (for each major page on your site you want to appear in the search engines). These one-time fees range from $29 to $49 per URL depending on how many URLs you are submitting. Your first URL will cost you $49, then subsequent URLs cost less depending on the total number you submit.
Once your site is submitted to the service, it will appear in Yahoo!, AltaVista, AlltheWeb, and other portals in their search results. Your page position is determined by how well your site is optimized for various key words. You may rank on page one for some key words, and page one hundred for other key words - this service guarantees inclusion in the search engines, not specific page rankings. To improve your actual page rankings you should review our SEO programs.
When a user clicks your listings in the search engines, you pay a cost-per-click fee. Your actual cost per click varies based on what categories you submit to, but generally range from $0.15 to $0.30 per click. You must maintain a positive balance in your account to remain in the service. You can set a monthly budget so that you know what you will be spending monthly, and you will have reporting that shows where your clicks are coming from. An initial $50 budget deposit is required.
You can remain in the service for as long as you like and change your budget at any time to raise or lower your traffic. And, you can stop the service at any time by letting your balance fall to $0.
As an example, let's say you want to submit your home page to this service and your site falls in the Sports & Outdoors category. You would pay:
$49 for the URL submission
$50 deposit for the pay-per-click balance
-----
$99 total initial fee
Since this category is a $0.15 per click category, your $50 deposit would get you 333 clicks from the search engines. Based on where your site ranks and how popular it is, these clicks could all come in one day, or they could take one month. Regardless, you pay $0.15 per click. When the $50 budget is used up, you can deposit additional funds to keep your site submitted and you do not have to pay the initial URL submission fees again.
